Widespread power outage reported in Petaluma


PETALUMA, Calif. —

A widespread power outage has been reported in the Petaluma area Sunday morning, police said.

The 911 dispatch center has been inundated with calls about the outage and police are urging people to call 911 only in an emergency.

Police suggest calling PG&E for information about the outage.

Intersections with traffic lights that are not working can be treated as if they have stop signs in each direction.

Police did not have any more information about the outage.
